FAQ

What is consignment and how does it work?

Consignment is an arrangement in which a business, also referred to as the ‘consignee’, agrees to pay a seller, or ‘consignor’, for an item after the item sells. The business accepts items for sale and agrees to pay the seller a percentage of the proceeds if and when the goods sell. At Wear it Again clothing items are consigned at a 50% rate. Only items that are listed  and sold above R750 are consigned at a 60% rate for the consigner and 40% for Wear it Again. If there are items listed and sold above R1500 the consigner will receive 65% of the sold price and Wear it Again 35%.
